♦ Stronger corrosion resistance
PE belongs to inert material, and it can resist erosion of lots of chemical substances except few strong oxidants. It has no electrochemical corrosion and requires no corrosion resistance layer.

PE gas pipe features excellent tenacity. In case of differential settlement or earthquake, it can deform to a certain extent accordingly, thus avoiding fracture and gas leakage, so it has excellent earthquake resistance.

Scratch resistance makes it suit laying of trenchless pipe and be used as socket pipe to be inserted into old pipe to have old piping network repaired.
♦ Excellent stress-cracking resistance
Stress-cracking resistance of PE pipe is better than that of steel pipe. PE pipe can reduce pipe leakage and explosion probability and increase gas transportation safety.
♦ Long-term service
Circular tensile strength of PE pipe has been confirmed by long-term hydrostatic test. PE pipe has long serve life, and it can be safely used for more than 50 years when buried at the temperature of -20°C to 40°C.
♦ Larger flow rate
Smooth pipe wall of PE pipe can enhance flow speed of medium and enlarge flow amount. Compared with the same metal pipe, PE pipe can transmit larger flow and save dynamic consumption.

The cost and investment are low. Compared with metal pipe, it can reduce overall engineering investment by 1/3. Coiled small-diameter pipe can further reduce engineering cost.
